Philosophy of the program
Aim to produce graduates who are knowledgeable, moral, ethical, adhere to professional ethics, are responsible for society, have academic and professional knowledge standards at an international level, are able to work with multidisciplinary teams of different languages and cultures, are able to evaluate and analyze data using research processes, and continuously seek additional knowledge on their own.
Program Education Objectives: PEOs
1. To produce graduates who have the potential to work in international agencies or organizations, both domestically and internationally.
2. To produce graduates who meet the needs of medical personnel, academics and both public and private sectors in providing health services that meet international standards, in response to the strategy for developing Thailand as an international health center (2017-2026) and the 13th National Economic and Social Development Plan (2023-2027) in terms of establishing Thailand as a high-value medical and health center.
3. To produce medical technologists with professional competence, knowledge and abilities meeting or exceeding the professional standards of medical technology set by the Medical Technology Council.
4. To produce graduates with four learning outcomes: knowledge, skills, ethics and personal characteristics according to the 2022 Higher Education Qualification Standards.
Program Learning Outcomes: PLOs
The program aims to produce graduates who respond to the direction, policies, national and university strategies, as well as the needs of stakeholders and are in line with the criteria in four areas as announced by the Higher Education Standards Committee on Details of Learning Outcomes According to Higher Education Qualification Standards B.E. 2565, including focusing on producing graduates with the ability to analyze and synthesize knowledge, who can seek knowledge throughout their lives on the basis of having a sense of patriotism, gratitude, discipline, social responsibility and adherence to academic and professional ethics. Graduates who complete this program have the following abilities:
1) Knowledge
PLO1: Describe the science related to the basics of general science, mathematics and statistics.
PLO2: Describe theories, principles of knowledge, management processes, organization management and quality assurance, principles and systems of being an entrepreneur in medical technology and fields related to medical technology.
PLO3: Apply basic scientific knowledge, health science knowledge, scientific processes in research and innovation, and professional knowledge in medical technology as well as in solving problems and developing work related to medical technology.
PLO4: Analyze and apply professional knowledge and knowledge related to medical technology.
2) Skills
PLO5: Have skills in selecting data and scientific tools for synthesis, development and problem-solving in professional practice.
PLO6: Have skills in research to solve problems using mathematical knowledge, statistics and numerical data.
PLO7: Have general and professional communication skills in English and can communicate in Chinese (for Chinese language study program).
PLO8: Have skills in using information technology to search, store, process and present data.
PLO9: Have skills in collecting specimens, laboratory analyses, reporting and interpreting laboratory test results with quality and in accordance with professional standards.
PLO10: Have skills in learning and seeking knowledge for self-development.
3) Ethics
PLO11: Behave in accordance with academic and professional ethics according to the regulations of the Medical Technology Council Regarding the code of ethics of the medical technology profession.
PLO12: Behave as a grateful person, have discipline and be responsible for oneself and society.
4) Personal characteristics (Character)
PLO13: Demonstrate good human relations, accept different opinions and cultures of others.
PLO14: Have good physical and mental health, have a volunteer spirit, and be able to work as a team with related professions in both leader and follower roles to care for, prevent and promote health.

Highlights of the program
- The Bachelor of Medical Technology Program, International Program (Revised Curriculum 2024) is the first and only international undergraduate program in Medical Technology in Thailand.
- Students in the program receive training in specialized skills in Medical Technology at the international level with financial support.
- The program provides activities to enhance academic experience and cultural exchange both domestically and internationally.
- The program supports and promotes knowledge examinations for registration and licensing as Medical Technology professionals, including International Certificate – ASCPi (American Society for Clinical Pathology International) for medical technology careers abroad.
