Student Affair, School of Allied Health Sciences, Walailak University participated in merit-making activity of the traditional of giving alms
On Friday 14th February, 2020, Student Affair, School of Allied Health Sciences, Walailak University participated in merit-making activity of the traditional of giving alms to the fire by making crispy omelet with steamed rice for 63 monks and novices, and participants at the Dharma fair, Chor Pradu Food Center Walailak University. Walailak Abode of Culture was the host for this activity.
For “the traditional of giving alms to the fire” it is a unique tradition of Buddhists in Nakhon Si Thammarat that have faith in Buddhism. Fire was lighted to warm and cook the food for monks and novices in the dawn morning. This activity is becoming a traditional that has been carried on for a long time.





On 14 January 2020, SAH Research unit organized the Workshop for English Conversation which was honored by Mr. David Chang. He led a visiting group of eleven foreign speakers to exchange and participate the activities. There were four activities containing Casual Conservations & Greeings, Conservations about You and Your family, Conservations about Culture and Conservations about the New Year. All participants and speakers were divided to many small groups to practice a private English skill with native speakers. All members and speakers are happy to exchange and learn from each other. Finally, we would like to thank Mr. David Chang and his team for this event.
