Student Affair, School of Allied Health Sciences, Walailak University participated in merit-making activity of the traditional of giving alms

          On Friday 14th February, 2020, Student Affair, School of Allied Health Sciences, Walailak University participated in merit-making activity of the traditional of giving alms to the fire by making crispy omelet with steamed rice for 63 monks and novices, and participants at the Dharma fair, Chor Pradu Food Center Walailak University. Walailak Abode of Culture was the host for this activity.

           For “the traditional of giving alms to the fire” it is a unique tradition of Buddhists in Nakhon Si Thammarat that have faith in Buddhism. Fire was lighted to warm and cook the food for monks and novices in the dawn morning. This activity is becoming a traditional that has been carried on for a long time.

Research Unit, School of Allied Health Sciences Organize activities “How to search journals”.

          On 31 January 2020, Associate Professor Dr. Manas Kotepui from Research Unit, School of Allied Health Sciences delivered an opening remark and reported about the activity “How to search journals”. This activity was honored by Associate Professor Dr. Jitbanjong Tangpong, Dean of School of Allied Health Sciences who greeted Mr. Kosin Sirirak from Institute of Research and Innovation Policy as a speaker. He provided the knowledge of finding the journals for publication in the national (TCI) and international (SCOPUS, Web of science) databases, as well as suggesting the techniques for selecting a journal that are appropriate for own research article. There were more than 21 lecturers participating in this activity. Lastly, we would like to thank Mr. Kosin Sirirak for providing a lot of knowledge and techniques in selecting journals.

Workshop for English Conservation by SAH Research Unit

          On 14 January 2020, SAH Research unit organized the Workshop for English Conversation which was honored by Mr. David Chang. He led a visiting group of eleven foreign speakers to exchange and participate the activities. There were four activities containing Casual Conservations & Greeings, Conservations about You and Your family, Conservations about Culture and Conservations about the New Year. All participants and speakers were divided to many small groups to practice a private English skill with native speakers. All members and speakers are happy to exchange and learn from each other. Finally, we would like to thank Mr. David Chang and his team for this event.
