IMTTC 2026 Students Explore Medical Innovation at Kyoto Kagaku, Japan.

On the morning of 25 March, as part of the International Medical Technology Training Camp (IMTTC 2026), students arrived in Osaka and traveled to Kyoto. After lunch at Kyoto Tachibana University and meeting faculty members and their Japanese friends, they visited Kyoto Kagaku (est. 1948), a Japanese company specializing in the development and manufacturing of highly realistic medical training models and simulators used in medical education worldwide.

During the visit, students learned about the company’s history and its contributions to healthcare education. They also observed aspects of the production and distribution process, gaining insight into how these training tools are designed and delivered. In addition, students had the opportunity to explore a variety of medical training models, including venipuncture simulators, which support hands-on learning in medical technology and clinical practice.
