On 18 November 2025, the School of Allied Health Sciences, Walailak University, held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Southern Tropical Dermatology Hospital, Trang Province, at the Rachavadee Meeting Room, Academic Building 7. The collaboration aims to promote academic cooperation, research, professional training, clinical practice development, and to strengthen allied health networks for future advancement.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of Dr. Worapol Vetchapinant, Director of the Southern Tropical Dermatology Hospital, together with hospital executives. Representing Walailak University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Voravuth Somsak, Dean of the School of Allied Health Sciences, along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Orawan Sarakul, Deputy Dean, program heads, and curriculum administrators, including:
Asst. Prof. Dr. Nurdina Charong – Head of Medical Technology Program (Thai Program)
Asst. Prof. Dr. Sirirat Surinkaew – Head of Medical Technology Program (International Program)
Asst. Prof. Dr. Salila Cetthakrikul – Head of Physical Therapy Program
Also in attendance were curriculum chairs and representatives:
Asst. Prof. Dr. Wilawan Palachum, Asst. Prof. Dr. Charupa Lektip, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Aman Tedasen (Incoming Chair of Medical Technology Program) along with lecturers from all programs who joined the ceremony.
This MOU marks an important milestone in enhancing educational quality, research engagement, and professional service development. The partnership is expected to contribute significantly to improving student competencies and strengthening healthcare human resources, supporting national development in the future.
