Global Professional and Cultural Exchange in Japan: Walailak University x Showa University 2025 From May 11–17, 2025, the School of Allied Health Sciences and School of Nursing, Walailak University, proudly participated in the Global Nursing and Physical Therapy Professional and Cultural Camp 2025 hosted by Showa University, Japan.
Led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chadapa Rungruangbaiyok and a team of dedicated lecturers, 14 students from Physical Therapy and Nursing programs engaged in a week-long immersive exchange focusing on professional learning, cultural appreciation, and international collaboration.
📍 Key Highlights:
✅ Campus-based skill labs and clinical tours at Showa University hospitals
✅ Cultural exchange activities between Thai and Japanese students
✅ Study visits to aged-care facilities and rehabilitation centers
✅ Hands-on experiences in acupuncture, Kampo, and moxibustion therapy
✅ Field trips to iconic locations including Asakusa, Tokyo Sky Tree, and Kamakura
✅ A warm welcome and heartfelt farewell from our Japanese counterparts
