The School of Allied Health Sciences, Walailak University, is pleased to congratulate two third-year students who have been selected to participate in the Kitasato Global Camp 2027, hosted by Kitasato University in Tokyo, Japan, from 7–14 March 2027.

The selected students are:

  • Nayada Marnma – 3rd-Year Medical Technology Student
  • Sorawit Rukdet – 3rd-Year Physical Therapy Student

The Kitasato Global Camp is an international learning program that brings together students from different countries and healthcare disciplines. The program provides participants with opportunities to exchange knowledge and experiences, learn about healthcare professions from an international perspective, and strengthen their understanding of interprofessional healthcare teamwork.

Through academic activities, collaborative learning, group discussions, and cultural exchange, our students will have the opportunity to share the professional roles and perspectives of Medical Technology and Physical Therapy while learning alongside students from other healthcare professions and diverse cultural backgrounds. This experience aims to strengthen their communication, teamwork, cultural awareness, and global competencies as future healthcare professionals.

Participation in the Kitasato Global Camp 2027 is made possible through the generous support of Kitasato University and the School of Allied Health Sciences, Walailak University, reflecting the commitment of both institutions to promoting international education and meaningful global learning opportunities for students.

The program is coordinated through close collaboration between Prof. Makoto Kubo, School of Allied Health Sciences, Kitasato University, and Asst. Prof. Rachasak Boonhok, Assistant Dean for International Affairs, School of Allied Health Sciences, Walailak University, who serve as key coordinating persons between the two institutions.

We congratulate both students and wish them a rewarding experience in Japan as they broaden their global perspectives and develop stronger interprofessional collaboration skills.
