📖 “Antimicrobial and Antibiofilm Effect of Bacteriocin-Producing Pediococcus inopinatus K35 Isolated from Kimchi against Multidrug-Resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa“

Why this research matters

As multidrug-resistant (MDR) bacteria continue to pose a significant global health challenge, this study investigates the potential of bacteriocins produced by Pediococcus inopinatus K35, isolated from kimchi, as a natural antimicrobial agent against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, a major multidrug-resistant pathogen.

The presentation attracted considerable interest from faculty members and participants, leading to engaging discussions on innovative antimicrobial strategies and promising alternative approaches to combating antimicrobial resistance.
