The event was officially opened by Associate Professor Dr. Voravuth Somsak, Dean of the School of Allied Health Sciences, who warmly welcomed participants. An introduction to the MTI program, including its curriculum, learning opportunities, and career pathways, was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Sirirat Surinkaew, Head of the Medical Technology International Program (MTI).
Throughout the two-day camp, participants gained intensive hands-on experience through a series of interactive activities designed to introduce the profession of medical technology. They participated in a Laboratory Safety workshop, explored the Sirin Museum, visited the Skywalk at the Walailak University Botanical Park, and learned about university life through inspiring talks by MTI alumni, who shared their academic journeys, international experiences, and career pathways.
A highlight of this year’s event was the outstanding leadership of third-year MTI students, who served as the main organizing committee with support from first- and second-year students and MTI alumni. The event not only provided valuable practical experiences and inspiration for prospective students but also strengthened teamwork, leadership, and the strong sense of community within the MTI family.
