On Wednesday 14 July 2021 at the time of 01:30-02:30 PM, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Voravuth Somsak, Vice Dean and representative of Academic Service Affair with The Center of Academic Service, Walailak University went to the Tah Soong Bon community for knowledge sharing and transfer about the health care and protection of covid-19 as well as vaccination strategy. The activities were shown below.

• Knowledge sharing and transfer in particularly of self-protection and health promotion in the covid-19 situation. Moreover, covid-19 vaccination and strategy for administration has also been informed.
• Knowledge brochures of covid-19 were freely distributed.
• Prize draw activity.
• Activities for continuous relationship building between School of Allied Health Sciences, Walailak University, and the community.

In the fiscal year 2020, School of Allied Health Sciences has been a representative of Walailak University in participation of 5s award contest, and has been considered from the committee of Technology Promotion Association (Thailand-Japan) to meet the criteria and received the certificate “5S Model Award 2020” In this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Voravuth Somsak, Vice dean of School of Allied Health Sciences and Chair of WU-5s was a representative to participate the ceremony event at Grand Hall room, Bangkok International Trade and and Exhibition Centre: BITEC, on Thursday 18 March 2021. This event is the pride of School of Allied Health Sciences and Walailak University.

Department of Physical Therapy, School of Allied Health Sciences, Walailak University inviting a physical therapist and interested person apply to participate in the 9^th Annual Walailak Physical Therapy Symposium Project under the project name “Sport Rehabilitation in Lower Extremities”

With the aim of participating in the project:

1) To have knowledge of the disease or pathology of common injuries in athletes of the lower extremities in different sports.

2) To have knowledge and understanding of the principles of sports biomechanics.

3) To have knowledge of principles of nutrition in athletes.

4) To have knowledge of injury prevention guidelines in athletes and can be recommended to athletes.

5) To have knowledge and understanding of the development of thought processes and problem solving in clinical sports and the work of physical therapists during the Covid-19 epidemic.

• The project will be held on May 31, 2021 from 8:30 AM to 4:15 PM. through the Webinar system  (ZOOM)
• The registration fee is 1,200 baht.  Accept 115 people.

Congratulations to School of Allied Health Sciences The school of Allied Health Sciences, Walailak University has been evaluated the 5s by the Technology Promotion Association (Thailand-Japan) on October 12, 2020. The 5s of School of Allied Health Sciences has been approved and ratified to get the certificate of 5s Model Award 2020. 5s of The school of Allied Health Sciences is driven by the corporate communication and organization relationship in order to motivate and develop all staff in the school to be the smart organization with high performance using 5s. Congratulations to all!

                   Corporate Communication and Organization Relationship affair has organized the event of “Orientation for new lecturer – Warm Welcome” at Rachawadee meeting room, Academic building 7 along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jitbanjong Tangpong, Dean, School of Allied Health Sciences, all the school and department executives, mentors, and interested participants.

                  This event was organized for all new lecturers who should clearly understood about the policy for driving the school and University, and operation at the various levels of affairs for achievement the targeted KPI and OKRs. Moreover, new lecturers also received the information and working guideline according to the performance appraisal including teaching and learning, research, academic service, and others. Policy and information of research unit and center of excellence were included in this event. Additionally, Dean was a special guess who talked about the guideline and career path advancement.

                SAH SEMINAR activity is an event for faculty members to present their own ongoing researches or presenting published research for development of exchanged research knowledge and creating a research network together. SAH SEMINAR activity in October 2020, held on October 28, 2020 at 12.00 -13.00 hrs. Dr. Wuttichote Jansaento was a speaker in the topic of “Rapid and sensitive quantum dot-based immune chromatographic strip by double labeling PCR products for detection of Staphylococcus aureus in food”. There were 32 participants in this activity.

          Asst. Prof. Dr. Voravuth Somsak, Vice Dean and head of academic service, School of Allied Health Sciences visited the Banthasoogbon community with Center for Academic Service, Walailak University to give the personal belonging. In addition, community meeting about academic service with the School in the year of 2021 was also considered.

          On October 20, 2020, the staffs of Corporate Communication and Organization Relationship, School of Allied Health Sciences went for Roadshow and PR about the information of TCAS 64 at Satreethungsong School, Nakhon Si Thammarat. There were many students who interested and participated this event.
