Our students were given the opportunity to participate in a program focused on the community-based integrated care system. The program aimed to equip students with the fundamental skills required for medical and life support methods. Students had the chance to step into the roles of the elderly and their primary caregivers within a family setting. This experience allowed them to enhance their medical and life support skills, which are commonly essential for home-based healthcare providers.

Furthermore, the School of Allied Health Sciences and Showa University formalized their collaboration through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This formal agreement paved the way for discussions about future prospects, including student and staff exchange programs, as well as opportunities for research collaboration.

As a delightful addition to our cultural immersion, participants engaged in Japanese cultural activities, including wearing traditional Yukata attire and crafting kaleidoscopes. The day concluded with a vibrant dinner party featuring an array of authentic Japanese cuisine.
