SAH Lunch Talk on Office Syndrome

There is an increase in number of office employees due to an increase of a workload and working hours in many workplaces. The encouragement of overwork by employers leads to a significant spread of musculoskeletal disorders among the employees. In addition, some employee might have a pathology of neck, back, spine, and joints together with the musculoskeletal pain which may lead to a short-term loss of working capacity.

Concerning about the health of office employees, School of Allied Health Science and the Center for International Affair, Walailak University will organize a virtual meeting on office syndrome and you are cordially invited to attend the meeting, “SAH Lunch Talk on Office Syndrome” on 4Apr2022, 12.00-01.00pm. This is our great pleasure that we will have Prof.Kei Nagashima, from Waseda University, Japan who conducts a research on the office syndrome. Prof.Kei will present his work with a title of “Office syndrome-its etiology from the view of body fluid and circulation physiology”. We are also pleased to have Dr. Parinya Vongvaivanichakul, from Department of Physical Therapy, School of Allied Health Sciences, Walailak University to provide you the office syndrome information from a basic knowledge to a prevention of this syndrome in a workplace.
